Who we are.

What we collect.
When you visit bomdough.com we collect basic usage data — pages visited, browser and device type, approximate location — through analytics cookies. When you place an order, join our loyalty program, sign up for our newsletter, or buy a gift card, that is handled by Toast, our point-of-sale partner, on Toast's own systems. When you contact us through the site, your message is delivered to us by our form provider, Formspree; we keep messages (whether sent through the form or by email) so we can respond.
How we use it.
To understand which pages and menu items are useful, improve the site and our cafés, measure and run advertising, respond to your messages, and — through Toast — process orders, loyalty, gift cards, and newsletters you opt into. We never sell or rent your personal information.
Cookies & advertising.
We use essential cookies (to run the site), Google Analytics (usage insights), and Google Ads (advertising and conversion measurement). Analytics and advertising cookies load only after you accept them in our cookie banner — manage your choice anytime via the 'Cookie preferences' link in the footer. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Who we share it with.
Only the providers that run these services: Google (Analytics and Ads), Toast (ordering, loyalty, gift cards, and payments — Toast processes your payment details directly; we never see full card numbers), and Formspree (which delivers the messages you send through our contact form). Each has its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Your choices & rights.
You can decline analytics and advertising cookies in our banner, unsubscribe from the newsletter via the link in any email, and request a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing connect@bomdough.com — we respond within a reasonable time. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, and opt out of any 'sale' or 'sharing' of personal information (we do not sell). If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights under the GDPR; our cookie banner is how you give or withhold consent.
Children.
Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided information, email us and we will delete it.
Data retention & security.
We keep contact messages and analytics data only as long as needed for the purposes above, and use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Updates.
We may update this policy; the effective date below reflects the current version. Effective May 2026.
