Fresh batches all day. The Breakfast Standard.

About

One product.
One standard.

bōm dough is a breakfast-first café in Cambridge, built around one hero — the Cheese Dough — and the kind of bright, unhurried morning you actually want to slow down for, with the people you're with.

The origin

Seventy recipes,
one bun.

Before there was a menu, there was The Cheese Dough. We tested more than seventy recipes — pulling apart texture, structure, balance — to land on the bun the brand is built on. Crispy shell. Elastic core. Consistent every time. Naturally gluten-free.

That same discipline now shapes everything we make: the sandwiches built on it, the matcha and coffee programs that round out the morning, the way we package and ship the mix nationwide.

Not everything is The Cheese Dough — but everything follows the same care.

The morning

Good mornings aren't rushed. They're savored.

The build

Local roots,
honest sourcing.

Our espresso is roasted just down the street by Broadsheet Coffee Roasters. Our matcha is ceremonial-grade, single-origin, stone-milled. Eggs are cage-free, salmon is premium-grade, dairy is sourced from regional creameries.

Every Cheese Dough is mixed, shaped, and baked in-house, then served warm — never under a heat lamp, never older than the morning. The math is simple: better inputs, fewer ingredients, no shortcuts.

Bakers + baristas

The people pulling fresh batches every morning, every afternoon, all day long. We're growing both kitchens — if you care about the work, we'd love to meet you.
